I would never choose PHL over JFK.
In my last 4 trips via JFK, I was back in the lounge 20 min after leaving the aircraft. Last week at PHL, while immigration wasn't particularly slow, the line for security where horrible and I would have definitely missed my connection if I didn't get out and walk to another terminal to re-clear security.
Honestly, being everything in one ticket I would not worry much with the discussed timing, unless there are reasons for which
King R can't afford to be put on another flights if he/she misses one.
