I decided to book Fufu Nikko the Luxury Premium Suite looks awesome and it seems like it fits the bill in what I'm seeking. For this trip, I'm celebrating my anniversary and I'm seeking a nice luxury ryokan experience! We shall stay 2 nights to try both Teppenyaki and the Kaiseki Thank you so much for this amazing guide.
Great choice. While both Luxury Premium Suites are incredible, if given the choice, try to see if you can ask for room #306, which is an end unit. #305 is the other LPS, btw.

As you can see, the two in-room Onsens aren't too shabby

There's a shower for two as well, which is a welcome thing, because many Onsens tend to be PIPING HOT! By the time the second person starts with his/her shower, their companion would often be out of the bath by then. If you prefer it more lukewarm, you simply need to add cold tap water (there's usually a knob to release cold water) and then mix it with the wooden water mixer. Problem solved.
