Hello everyone,

My parents and I are traveling to Prague via QR in March 2023 (business class if that matters). We have an 18 hour layover in Doha. We are interested in the Discover Qatar program to stay in a hotel in Doha. One issue is that as we are Philippine passport holders, we are not eligible for the visa-on-arrival at immigration.

I have looked online and it seems all resources say that transit visas have been suspended. Would anyone have any comments on how best to proceed from here? I contacted QR and they told me to contact Discover Qatar. They then referred me to Qatar's Ministry of Interior. I have sent them an email explaining our situation but no response as of this writing.

Would appreciate any comments here. Lastly, worst case scenario, would anyone share how best to survive 18 hours at DOH? We do have access to the Al Mourn lounge but should I look into booking the airport hotels?
