I believe that by law that have to let them board first, but with open seating, maybe restrict them to aft of the wing seats or something like that? I mean if they need more time to board, they must need more time to deplane, so if they are towards the back, they wouldn't be delaying as many able-bodied people.
Requiring people who have difficulty walking long distances to walk further seems like a problem. Additionally, it will increase turn times. And increase the number of people needing to use the aisle wheelchair. Additionally, using an aisle wheelchair for any distance can be uncomfortable to many people.
I understand the concerns about abuse; however, what you propose will make travelling for people who actually need these accommodations even worse. And flying with a wheelchair is an absolute nightmare of broken equipment and non-accessible restrooms on longer and longer flights.
