According to google flights, next week from Friday March 3 and with return on Sunday March 12, it's much cheaper to fly from Moscow to Shanghai on China Eastern(472US$), than from Moscow to Paris or London which costs more than double the amount on the cheapest airline. I think in the future due to the ban on flights between Russia and "unfriendly" Japan and Korea, Chinese airlines could take a lot of that traffic. Also surprised that Cathay Pacific doesn't fly to Moscow though while MU, CA, CZ, 3U and Hainan airlines group all fly there with frequency increases in warmer months.
