Ive been very lucky with scheduling changes for my upcoming Spring Euro trip. Separate one-way tickets.
I booked in December at very low points cost in J... and have had at least two scheduled changes on each sector.
A few changes were only 10 minutes... but gave me the opportunity to rebook on better flights & routings & carriers.
The agents have been very accommodating on every change.
YVR-YYC-LHR (AC)(LX)changed to YVR-LHR (AC)
ARN-FRA-LHR (LX)(LH) changed to ARN-LHR (SK) **Agent was a rock-star!!!**
ZRH-FRA-ARN (LH) changed by 5 minutes and offered me a refund, but not change. (yet... fingers crossed)
I'm waiting around for more sched changes to improve my itinerary further! ;-)
(I read an article yesterday stating LH was soon to announce 34,000 flight cancellations... in the next few weeks) *eek!*
