Tentatively planning a trip to Langkawi in December. I have reserved a canopy suite at the Datai. Is there any reason to stay somewhere else I should consider? Would be, my wife and our 3.5-year old son. Really just thinking about if the FS would provide a lot more family / child activities or if the food was a lot better somewhere else.
In general, would plan to just be spending our time at the beach and exploring some nearby nature.
