100k on LH gives *G for two years, while 54k on BD gives *G for just one year...
With US (if they survive) it can be an even better deal. 50k for *G which is valid until February two years after the calendar year of qualification. For example, qualifying at anytime during 2004 is valid until 28/2/06. You could enjoy over 2 years at *G for 50k if you qualify really quickly.
