Totally agree with you with the cutbacks, the food has never been amazing, Emirates IMHO are much better but there's defintely a noticable deteration in the quality.
Another thing, there's no F-lounge anymore on depature, instead we are being shunted into the biz lounge with a cordoned off F area - I did so enjoy the buggy ride after Depature to the lounge but I assume that this has gone too ? Is the F lounge coming back at all ?
I find that the Thai bed isn't quite flat, it's more like 175 degrees and as I lay on my front, I found it a little uncomfortable but that's just me
I've never flown Swiss before but may look at that in the future, I notice that todays prices on Skyscanner travelling in August are around the £5k mark whereas Thai is £7.8k and Emirates £7.1k so it looks like a viable option.

binsabi, regarding the buggy, I'm not sure which area I arrived but it was at least a 10-15min walk so defintely not D.
With so little TGF the F lounge won’t be coming back & buggies are hit & miss. I do get buggies on LX in F & prestige F section at BKK
