Are 787-10s understaffed?

I flew on BA 209 Heathrow to Miami yesterday 22nd February 2023.

The crew were in general extremely pleasant but there was a distinct sense that they were understaffed and overpressured.

I was in WTP. We saw the team three times once to provide a pre-lunch drink once to provide lunch and a third time to provide a snack.

They did not find time to provide us with after lunch coffee and we had to search them out for this. They did not proactively offer any other top up of water or any other types of drinks, again we had to find them. No call bell in our cabin was answered proactively during the whole flight.

I noticed that that cabin is being served by the rear world traveler galley and the staff seemed quite busy and perhaps a little turse when asking for additional water etc.

Is this usual in terms of service levels in WTP these days? Shame if it is as the cabin is quite comfortable seats, are good and so is the food.

PS is it normal for flight deck crew to be walking around the rear of the aircraft when the fasten seat belt signs are illuminated?
