There is really no such thing as "linking" PNRs, the only thing that can be done is just adding notes to the PNRs that you're traveling with others.

For the segments you share, you can for sure call AA and get your parents seated next to you in MCE/preferred seats for no charge. That's really the only benefit that will be carried over.

And for lounge access as an EXP you're entitled to one guest in the Flagship Lounge (or any oneworld lounge you encounter). Having PNR's "linked" is irrelevant for lounge access purposes, doesn't get you anything. But for the Arrivals Lounge at LHR no guests are allowed.
