I noticed on the points combine form they have the following language which seems to conflict with the blackout terms. My guess is this is allowed because you can technically book the room on points if you were to book the minimum amount of nights.
World of Hyatt award reservations are subject to the reservation requirements of the individual hotel, such as length of stay.
