We're spoiled for choice in that regard at my home airport (DCA), both from inside the terminal but also in a great little park nearby the airport where you can watch takeoffs and landings at close range.
Depending on the weather planes landing fly over economy parking lot P6 very low to the ground and are fun to see. Make sure to park by bus stop 7 to the left when you pull in as the landing planes are directly overhead.
