Within the USA, I fly mostly shorter routes and mostly on AS, which has both the most convenient schedules and the most service on the routes I fly. I also get 40 BA TPs per flight, something I don't get from competitors.

All this being said, I don't hesitate to fly Southwest when the AS fare is a lot more, or to use miles for nearly free travel when the opportunity presents itself. I'm as much an AvGeek as anyone on this board, but in the end it is a price-value relationship I'm seeing. I also watch lots of aviation videos when using my exercise machines. I can't think of a single one of them, from any of the Vloggers, that has resulted in my choosing one airline over another one; the other factors prevail. Watching those videos is entirely gaping behavior, even for me.
