Waited too long to book and now rates are through the roof for a 3-night early April! So it looks like I am stuck with Aloft, Moxy or Courtyard, otherwise it is big bucks for the St. Regis or RC!!

Not much in the way of reviews for any of the budget properties, but it sounds like Aloft Osaka Dojima might be the best bet - However I wonder if this neighborhood is the best for tourists?

Another option is the Courtyard Shin Osaka which is convenient to the shinkansen but not much else I think.

Previously stayed at Intercon which we felt was a great location convenient to Umeda station & a nice mall, but I am sure there are other good options.
