After they ran out of chocolate chip cookies during dessert Sunday night and I asked if they had anymore, Anna said they would definitely have them during afternoon snack the following day. When she didn't see me that afternoon, she proactively had a stack of them saved for me the next night, complete with a sticky with my name on it. She asked me to hold on for a moment while she grabbed the stack from the back...all just because I asked if they had anymore the night before. I know that doesn't compare to your daughter's allergy, but I've noticed them personally connect with guests many times during my stays.
We got upgraded a day early to a really nice ocean view room now. Yes, they seem to be quite accommodating. I understand when everything is booked and it's nice when they make an effort to move you. At the same time, I wish they would keep track of Globalists ahead of their arrival. I wonder at times, maybe they give the upgrades away earlier to others and then nothing is left because someone else checked in a day before? As I had mentioned earlier, they upgraded me to ocean view as a Discoverist (!) and that was during Thanksgiving week which is typically quite busy.
Regarding the HR Maui - not our cup of tea. Super crowded and folks there seem to be more party folks.
