On a serious note, I’ve been researching hotel options (I’ll be forced to book on the fly this summer as a family member can’t commit to dates in advance due to erratic health issues) and plugging in dates over the next few months in order to understand the lodgings’ typical rates and stay plans has been strange and disheartening. We managed to get our summer flights just in time (they’re already 33% more than what we paid less than a month ago) but the patterns in hotel and inn pricing/availability are unrecognisable to me now.
