[Looking forward to hearing about the cardiologist report in about a dozen years, but the longest lived men I know have been widowers.]

About a dozen years ago, I would exchange my US dollars and euros (for Czech crowns) at a forex place at the train station from which there is a nearby bus to and from the PRG airport. Soon found out that the best exchange rate easily accessible to me as a tourist with limited familiarity with the area was probably at an independent forex office not too many minutes walk from one of the most popular tourist destinations in old town rather than at the train station. I later did the forex run to “the better place” but primarily because I felt comfortable in the area and wanted to wander around there anyway. I guess my rule is that if there seem to be a lot of locals in line exchanging money, then it’s probably better value than the airport foreign exchange places or whatever else is a foreign tourist trap.
