I recently tried money order at Safeway with SS gift card and worked fine. I was under assumption that money order at Safeway was cash only. This thread is for what works and what not at Safeway.

Does anyone know if POS is auto debit like Kroger when I swipe the card it takes out whatever balance in the card I don't need to tell cashier that I need to pay partial payment.
