I have diamond at Wyndham via the business credit card. I submitted the request 2/8 and it just changed back to diamond today so it was almost two weeks. In the past it was only a couple days.

Not sure why it isn't instant like with Hyatt/MGM. But maybe since they are only doing the match based on earned status it may take them a little time to verify the status was earned and not matched.
