Once UA restarts flights to HK, fly to HKG and cross the border the Shenzhen airport and catch flights to the rest of China, provided all the paper work and meeting visa requirements are in place.

I have just done it a few days ago, but doing SFO-SIN on UA and then SQ to HKG.
