I just encountered another quirks - quirks is putting it nicely - of the program.

Tried to use them on St Regis Osaka.
App shows 'Redemption with Points Upgrade' at combined amt well less of 170K. Each of my free night cert can cover 85K per night.
But I am unable to use the certs. I can only use it at the entry level room, even though the certs value is enough to cover.
Phone agent cannot help either, citing the rules of the certificate - can be used only on the entry level room.

i don't get it. What's the point of having the certs.
