I would also like to know if they will through-check a bag on separate itineraries. I have a similar routing coming up with tight-ish connections. I wonder if anyone on here has tried to through-check bags between OZ and KE on separate itineraries, or if it is kind of a niche problem flying from Japan to connect to KE/OZ flights...
