Thank you for pointing this out. Now I understand where some people are coming from. I never thought about the short hop fliers. I only take 2-3 round trips a yr less than 750 miles and 95% of the rest of the trips are intercontinental. Indeed the short haul flier who is buying A fares and also Y, B, M is getting the shaft with the new plan.
