Hi

I have an upcoming Miami to Istanbul flight in business class and I am hoping to secure two seats to myself. My understanding is that window seats on row 5 aren't allocated until check in, so I'm thinking that if the flight isn't full they might remain free and that securing seat 5B or 5J for example would be good guarantee to have the pair to myself. Has anyone tried this and what was your success rate on flights that are not full?

Right now I am in row 6 and the seat next to me is still free the flight is in about a week
