For me the worst has to be JAL. Everything starts like 2 hours before landing and the long messages don't cease. I think 40 mins is necessary one way or another, especially with the time needed to prep the club cabin etc for landing, i.e. getting seats upright, bedding stowed away, people changing out of pijamas etc.
