Just completed another stay at PHS. Status recognition has improved and management is definitely more hands on. Staff and service-wise they are still a far cry from old glory: the hotel has become a revolving door for employees so they are forced to fill openings with staff that usually wouldn't make the cut. I missed lots of touches that make a luxury hotel a luxury hotel like use of names or remembering breakfast preferences. Feedback was taken in constructive ways and people tried to iron out some wrinkles during my stay. Training and coaching remains the top area of improvement.
