I received the message, tender not allowed. The associate tried it a number of times. I then tried the change payment method, which also failed. She asked to see the card, so, having nothing to lose, I obliged. She said gift cards default to run as credit. That’s a new one for me, as I have liquidated hundreds of thousands of gebits. I then went to a local grocery store, and had no issues buying a money order there.
