I routinely have 55-65 minute connections in DFW that leave me very little time to dawdle. Any time my originating flight is even 5 minutes late I start to fret. From touchdown the taxi to gate takes 5-10 minutes. Another 10 minutes to deplane. Then, depending on your arrival and departure terminals another 10-20 minute walk or ride. I can't speak to the customs process there, but it sounds like you don't have the advantage of Global Entry. On paper it may look like you have a generous connection but I would encourage you to be attentive to time. To be clear, I would not want the CLT connection, but your DFW connection might be slightly more pressed for time, especially if your originating flight is behind schedule.
