Wow OP, your room was massive compared to mine.

Like I said earlier, I also arrived at noon and arranged early check-in, so wasn't picky on the room offerings, but what I had is akin to a Select-brand Marriott in Southeast Asia: the only floor space is between the bed and tv and window, and a small foyer in the front of the washroom. Two people possibly couldn't pass each other, it looks like that's possible in your floor arrangement. Damn!

I wish I had a pic to share with you. Just browsing the hotel's Google Maps listing to browse photos, this property must have a half dozen or more room arrangements!! The closest one I can find is: click here but it's half the size because I had only 1 King bed and no chair in the corner because there was simply no room to put one there. Maybe I got the worst/experimental room in the property, glad to hear it can only get better...
