I obviously can't speak for the OP, but speaking from recent personal experience, if you're not familiar with SYD it is not necessarily obvious how much time and distance is involved in an international-to-domestic transfer. I booked my own flights with a 2.5 hour layover thinking that would certainly be enough time, but I now know, only after the fact, that I may be cutting it close given that I will be arriving at a busy time of the morning (7:00 am). So I'm glad to hear that the QF transfer service seems back to normal at least.
