FAA1996 Going to see if I can edit the name of this thread.
Ended up with a positive outcome yesterday as we were reticketed in J a few hours after multiple communication attempts. Key seems to be having an updated ticket number for AA to refer to.
Couple of notes from our experience:
- Called EXP desk multiple times and finally reached a supervisor, who initially was skeptical of the request. Put us on hold to call the seat desk and agreed that we should be in J. Sent an email to "corporate" that seemed to resolve the issue.
- Also went to AA Twitter DMs and submitted an online complaint.
- Received a confirmation email with reticketed itinerary
AA is definitely scrambling to fix this. Hope this info is helpful.
