Dang. Same thing happened to me. I saw ours cleared for March, DFW-CDG. Just checked and saw we were moved back to Y. No MCE seats available together now.
Really wish DH hadn’t called the in laws and told them that they had our C seats now. 🥲

Update: I sent an email to AA last night. Standard reply of 7-10 days response time.
Decided to see if I could get help via AA chat on the app. They couldn’t help and offered no apologies. Just that it was a glitch and we were back on WL.
Reached out to AA twitter team and they were able to help. Great attitude, very friendly, very efficient. Received updated, ticketed itinerary within an hour.
Good luck to everyone trying to sort this out. Highly recommend calling or reaching out to twitter team, as it appears that is how things are getting sorted.
