Yes, I am aware of all of that, but based on what actually has happened to QR bookings then my original answer stands. That's not to say you can't try to improve on it, but broadly speaking redemption bookings can have an unhappier outcome when there are flight cancellations, and I would not be relying on -3 to +14 days.
