Also, re the recent questions regarding adding a segment to an SQ itinerary. As far as I know, doesn't this require the SQ segment to be *A available? Simply seeing SQ availability through KF and a second segment through *A doesn't mean the two can necessarily combined. Ideally, what one needs to see is the SQ flight in the *A search as below:

AFAIK, correct. The SQ segment needs to show as *A redemption option which can be an issue many times even though it shouldn't be, but such is the reality with KF.
