Thanks for all the helpful info. I read several comments about being stuck there, paying inflated restaurant prices, and that would be a concern for me. Anyone ever get an Uber to come pick them up there? I saw a comment above about Puerto Morelos (with much cheaper dinner restaurants) being a 15-20 minute drive away, and it'd be great to get there via a cheap Uber instead of having to mess with a rental car.
