The bulkhead extra foot room vs. the possibility of noise is a crap shoot. I was in 1L and 9A on recent flights. 1L had a fa in the closet poking around and talking the whole time... 9A was a delight. You just never know.
Our favorite pair is usually row 3 as my partner thinks the bulkhead wall makes row 1 feel a bit claustrophobic.
In your case, the equivalent to row 3 would be row 11 in second cabin. I'd take that or take a chance with the bulkhead rows...
Thanks!! Row 3 and 5 are my usual first choices. Haven't done bulkhead previously due to higher risk vs higher reward. 11 is the safe bet. Wondering how much the expanded foot wells add to 14 hour flight. Thinking 9D/G are less risk then 1 D/G. While 9 A/L have bassinets, chances are not high that a baby will be in those seats-?
