I can't see why this would be a problem. The important thing is that you're traveling together. I've put my kid on a separate PNR for the same itinerary as an accompanying adult (usually my wife and/or I) multiple times and never had a problem, albeit not with your exact combination of airlines. This should be something that's pretty routine as it's quite common for people to use miles for some members of their group and paid tickets for others.
