The "long" walk is probably 400 meters, the "short" walk no more than 300. About the same distance where the TST Tsuen Wan line drops you off and Exit E, the nearest to the Pen. And at the FS, you don't have to deal with the crowds.
The Island Line/Tsuen Wan Line Central Station, that is more of a hike, 10 minutes at least.

As a matter of fact, I believe the FS is the Hong Kong luxury hotel closest to an AE station. The RC in Kowloon is a major hike from the AE station (much farther than the walk from the FS). The W is tricky to get to, and I'm pretty sure a longer walk than the FS. Everything else involves taxis or buses (Pen, Rosewood, St. Regis) or long walks (MO and LMO).
Ah okay I remembered wrong then. It's closer to the airport line than it is to the island/tsuen wan line. I think being more conveniently located on the island/tsuen wan line is more important if you are actually staying in the city. If you are just overnighting in HK then probably more convenient to be closer to the aex line.
