My Venture One card allows me to transfer points to mileage programs, one of which is the infinity mileage lands, but I notice for all airlines except EVA the points transfer is 1000 > 1000. For Eva it's 1000 > 750.

I'm not sure what that means in real practical terms, but on the face of it, it appears one is losing points by converting them to infinity mileage lands (?).

I'm trying to figure out if I should indeed transfer miles to infinity mileage lands to use for purchasing my next ticket, or if it would make more sense to simply keep the points in my CapOne account and then use the "cover travel purchases" option afterwar purchasing my ticket.

Has anyone compared to find out which provides more savings?
