Sounds like a one-off. Best meat I ever had on a plane was the steak when flying ORD-NRT in NH F in 2019. Better than anything I’ve had in AF F, JAL F, SQ F, etc.

Lots of great meals both ex-US and ex-JP since including just a month ago on SFO-NRT.
