Is Duke from the French or Dutch side of the island? Has the language barrier been an issue for you two?

I had to drop a dog off at the shelter yesterday. We had another dog follow us home on our morning walk Wednesday. He settled himself in my front porch all day waiting for me to come back out and then trying to get in the house. My aunt posted him on next door and I figured I'd call animal control and then foster him for the five-day mandatory stray hold or until the owners showed up. But once inside the house he was really stressing Kazak out so I had to take him to the shelter. I turned in a volunteer application though so there's that.

He was a very cute Australian Shepherd mix, but I was still tempted to keep him if the owners didn't show up.
