Does anyone have any hard info on the opening date of the JW Madrid? Seems like no reservations are available until the first week of April 2023. I have reservations for that week but am worried if that opening date gets pushed even a few days, I'll be out of luck. It is a points reservation. If traveling solo I'd probably wing it and see how it plays out, but this trip I'll have the family with me (booked two rooms) so I'm less inclined to roll the dice.

If the date does get pushed, how does Marriott handle these situations? Do they generally refund the points and say "sorry" or do they make an effort to re-accommodate the cancellation at a similar property?
