Just had a 2 night stay here as we start our bali hotel hopping trip.
took about 1.5 hours to get to the resort from the airport at around 4pm. (Side note- get the Evoa before arrival to skip VOA on arrival… we got through Evoa passport control in 15 minutes instead of 60 minutes at VOA and another 60+ minutes in the general passport control line)
arrival and was welcomed as a globalist. Welcome drinks and snacks. Buggied over to the 4th level. Originally asked for 1st level closer to the main hotel area but was told 3rd and 4th level had better views.
once in villa, went through all the amenities of the resort. Welcome amenity of cake and cookies and chocolates and fresh pressed juices. The villa looks amazing. Large open room with king sized bed, large day bed that could possible sneak and sleep 4 additional people
. Bathroom with double vanity and indoor outdoor showers and large soaking tub. Outdoor was a private pool and a gazebo nest like place to rest and relax. As other have noted, there are monkeys hanging around the roof tops and trees outside. We never left food outside and the monkeys never came onto the villa grounds. There are some bug problems but just keep the doors closed.
we had dinner in the Cire restaurant on the first night and it was fairly good for the western food. Second night we did room service dinner and was excellent Indonesian cuisine from Warung. All reasonably priced for a resort of this price point (though compared to outside and other resorts, it’s on the pricey side). Globalist breakfast was served in the restaurant by the pool. A la carte breakfast buffet, order off the menu. Menu is available on Hyatt website. Food was good and came in small portions so you can try multiple items. Coffee was delicious and they had the bali coffee with coffee grinds, kinda like Turkish coffee.
main swimming pool was amazing. Just as pictured on Hyatt and all the promos. I angled and took the same stock photo of the pool and the gazebo nest. Nice to swim laps there as it’s maybe 30-35 meters long (guesstimate).
Didn’t experience any noise issues. Grab and bluebird taxi were easy to get from the resort.
overall a great stay. Onto other Hyatt (and Marriott
) properties…
