The minimum connection time at LAX from AC to UA, arriving from Canada, is 0h50m. The 1h30m is an airport default that includes the possibility that you might have to change terminals landside. AC and UA are in adjacent terminals that are connected airside -- it shouldn't be more than a 15 or 20 minute walk at the very most between your gates.
You can always ask UA to do whatever you want. However, since they don't fly to WAW, they're going to be constrained by partner inventory at some point anyway. And since this is a legal connection, they'll likely charge any mileage difference.
Thanks! If the AC flight is late, when arrive in LAX which agent should I talk to? I assume is AC? but AC don't have Europe flight from LAX so what they can do? since it's a J ticket Can AC put me on any UA J ticket go to Europe let's assume ZRH, then ZRH-WAW need have LO reward stock or it doesn't matter?
