Comments: Very happy with the upgrade. I would consider the room to be a (Junior) Suite, although there was no separation between the living and the sleeping areas. Bathroom was really tiny for the size of the room, but I suppose they didn't want to do lots of structural changes when they converted the original building. View was towards the historical peninsula (Suleymaniye Mosque featured prominently) and if I craned my neck to the right I would see the Galata Tower, to the left I would see parts of the Bosphorus and the Hagia Sophia. Location was excellent, close to local restaurants/street food, etc., public transport links, and we enjoyed walking along the Bosphorus several times a day, as the Galataport was just across the street. Not perfect, but very good service too. Would return.
