I had an expiring SWU and decided to roll the dice on DCA-PHL-PHX. (PHL-PHX is on a 787). The DCA-PHL was available at the time, so it cleared. My reservation shows Systemwide Upgrade Confirmed for the first leg and Systemwide Upgrade Requested for the PHL-PHX leg. This was booked in Basic Economy and I'm ExPl.

I got an ExpertFlyer alert that upgrade availability opened up, so I immediately called AA. She said there is availability so "let me clear it." She then said "Hmm the system is blocking me from clearing it, so the system will automatically run the waitlist each day."

Is there anything I should do other than wait?
