Thank you, David, for your analytical opinion that well represented the Air Carrer's (AA) point of view. You should consider applying to their management. A lot of people who have made varying decisions in the world, from the best interest of their company, to their own self-interest, to things that involved major death and suffering to the world, were all justifying themselves as "just doing their job". I will respect you as an intelligent poster on this thread, but suggest, without intent of being inflammatory, that you reconsider justifying a position as "just doing their job". Recommend searching for a better, less inflammatory, explanation, that's all. There's a lot of history behind that phrase. Allegiance to an airline carrier can age be based on something better, I hope.
