A crap review since I was barely in my room, attending festivities at the Convention Center, three weeks ago
-lovely location if you're attending
-the rooms are small but cheap (redemption and cash), so I think this is a good way to pile on a bunch of college students if they're also attending a conference when considering reimbursements
-modern, new construction, so no complaints about wear and tear/dirty
-housekeeping amenities are kept to basic
-fridge a bit small
-they kept asking if i was interested in the rooftop bar, too bad i didn't go, i'm sure it's a cool view at least
-downstairs bar is quick service because it's so empty, prices are reasonable for DC (meaning expensive compared to the rest of the country ugh)
-very central location means i was mostly nomadic, doing work in coffee shops, meeting people in a bazillion restaurants within a 2km walk, and of course a short jaunt to amenities like CVS, the convention center, groceries, and the metro
I'd stay here again on the basis of its location and that it met my needs for having a comfortable bed when I needed it for a relatively low cost (I'm one of those guys who would have stayed in Virginia if the Yellow Line was open just for the cheap cost)
I arrived at noon and checked in early just fine, I was aware of the warning and they did say that my room potentially was not ready, but it was and they let me through without the fee. The two guys at the front desk are awesome and down-to-earth, I was actually worried at how long they worked at the front desk, I think I saw each of them at either end of a presumed ten-hour shift on some days/nights...
Was out to midnight most times and didn't have any problems safety-wise, as opposed to further southwest and near The White House of all places @

Walkability is just as amazing as anywhere else within a 5km radius
