This is just a random thought exercise I came up with.
All 50 states in the US currently have commercial airline service, but a few are probably small enough that there are no nonstop flights entirely within the state.
I am curious as to how many of the 50 states people have had in-state flights within.
For me, the answer is only two: California and Texas. I tend to take a train/bus or drive short distances.
Also, fun fact, Delaware didn't have service until Avelo started flights on 2/1/23 after Frontier pulled out during Covid
